Impact of the pandemic on Roma communities in Slovakia

The Goal:

To present the activities of ÚRŠ, a partner of the project "Roma - Narrowing the Gap and Aiding Integration", as a university workplace that educates future social work professionals to work with vulnerable, excluded groups and at the same time cooperates with several non-governmental organizations involved in educating Roma pupils. from marginalized communities. The presentations are focused on the life of Roma in Slovakia before and during the pandemic, on the effects of the pandemic on the education of Roma pupils from marginalized communities and the possibilities of support and motivation of these pupils.
